Leadership today requires the ability to see unique patterns in behavior, complex systems and morally ambiguous challenges. Our police leaders are called upon to provide multiple functions in circumstances or environments of trauma and traumatization. They are key to identifying that the system is suffering, naming the suffering and recognizing that the organization is a traumatized system with potentially traumatized officers.
This is an twenty-four (24) hour course which is presented in the course of three (3) days. The course will provide instruction that is both philosophical and practical, with discussions, question and answer sessions. The course is designed for executives, managers, supervisors and professional standards (both sworn and non-sworn) personnel.
