To really understand the process of building resilient teams, remember that people bring certain skills, behaviors, attitudes, and values to an organization.  These attributes are the KSA’s to the socialization process. The outputs of the socialization process, or the socialization goals, include things like individual commitment, internalization of new organizational values, and character each bring to the group.  Ultimately, the end product of socialization may be viewed as a psychological contract between the new member and the group. In other words, each individual walking the talk of the agency or team. For this contract to be fulfilled, some individual adjustment is usually required. This adjustment, or transformation, is the MINDSET of the socialization process.

 

Description

This is an (16) hour course which is presented in the course of two (2) days. The course will provide instruction that is both philosophical and practical, with discussions, question and answer sessions. The course is designed for executives, managers, supervisors and professional standards (both sworn and non-sworn) personnel.
