Greg Brinkley

Greg Brinkley is a nationally recognized executive Coach, author, evangelist, professional speaker, leadership consultant, and Social Security disability expert. He possesses over 30 years of experience in mentoring and leadership positions with the State of California, the Federal Government, Christian churches, and parachurch organizations.
 
In his combined 27-year government career, Greg served in senior, technical, and leadership positions with the Oakland, CA Disability Determination Service, Office of the Inspector General – Cooperative Disability Investigations, Western Program Service Center of the Social Security Administration (Disability Processing Branch), WNPSC Fraud Prevention Unit, and Austin, TX Social Security Field Office. While employed at these agencies, he led, consulted, or was a significant contributor to countless successful teams. He is a two-time recipient of the SSA Regional Commissioner’s Team Award as well as the prestigious SSA Commissioner’s Team Award.
 
Mr. Brinkley has a wealth of ministry experience, serving as a youth minister, associate minister, worship/praise leader, and ministering evangelist at the East Oakland Church of Christ in Oakland, CA until relocating to the Austin, TX area. He also served for over 30 years as a steering committee member, junior director, program chair, and director for the California State Youth Conference. He previously served on the board of directors for both the East Oakland Church of Christ and the California State Youth Conference.
 
He has decades of leadership, mentoring, and ministry experience in parachurch organizations affiliated with Churches of Christ. He has served, coordinated, and participated in several regional and national events, including the National Youth Conference, National Christian Singles Seminar, Northwest Regional Songfest, Midwest Marriage Retreat, and the West Coast Preachers’ Forum. 
 
Greg is the founder and CEO of Greg Brinkley Enterprises, a Coaching and consulting firm. He has recently launched Disability YODA Consulting, focused on helping Social Security Disability Insurance applicants navigate the disability process. 
 
Mr. Brinkley is a John Maxwell Certified Coach, speaker, and trainer as well as a member of the Entrepreneurial Mastery Inner Circle (EMIC) led by Christian Simpson, founder of the internationally accredited Conscious Coaching Academy.
 
He is the author of two books: Un-Civil-ized: How Government Workers Behave and What to Do to Help Them and The 10 Disability Commandments: The Basic Steps to Eliminate Mistakes, Anxiety, Stress, and Confusion When You Apply for Social Security Disability.
 
Originally from Oakland, California, Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from California State University, Hayward (now California State University, East Bay) and has continued post-graduate studies at Lubbock Christian University, East Oakland Bible Institute, and Golden Gate Bible Institute.
