George M. Williams

George M. Williams is currently our senior minister.  He has been serving in that capacity for 39 years.  He is married to Gail, and together they share 4 children and 4 grandchildren.  

 

George is well known and respected in our brotherhood.  He is a much sought-after speaker on state and national lectureships, revivals, workshops, and city campaigns.  He is the author of one book entitled “Lord, I Need an Attitude Adjustment” and was a literary contributor to the Blueprints Bible curriculum.  

 

He has received several awards from Southwestern Christian College, the Austin community, and the Edwards Ministerial Associations.  Educationally, he has an AA degree in Bible (Southwestern Christian College), a BS degree in ministry and evangelism (Abilene Christian University), an MS degree in biblical and related subjects (Abilene Christian University) and is currently pursuing an MDiv degree from David Lipscomb University.
